Young Artists in Adelaide | July 1, 2008

Well first things first. I’d like to thank Miss Gee and Johnno for participating in my short doco! These two, extremely talented artists were kind enough to volunteer and be in my uni production. The doco focuses on the young art scene of Adelaide. This doco was made for a final project in ‘Documentary Production’. You can check out the doco on youtube at this link [ here ]

Haven’t updated in a while… | May 29, 2008

Haven’t really had a chance to update the site in a couple of months. I’ve been pretty flat out with uni work etc.. But it’ll be over for a little while in a few weeks when I’m on holidays. So I shall have more time on my hands to update this site. In other news, I was a movie extra on the set of the new film ‘Broken Hill‘ last night at the Adelaide town hall. It stars Alexa Vega from Spy Kids.. Who is pretty grown up now and is looking extremely different with her bleached blonde, curly locks. It also stars George Kapiniaris, Aussie’s probably know him from the RAA commercials, Rhys Wakefield who you might know from ‘Home and Away’ and Luke Arnold who plays the lead character ‘Tommy’.

This is a breif synopsis of the movie from IMDB:
Tommy, a gifted teenager composer, dreams of being accepted into the famous Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Unfortunately, a good band is hard to find in the middle of Outback Australia - until a strange incident involving flying watermelons leads him to a group of talented prison inmates.

The scene I was involved in was a concert scene, so you might be able to see me somewhere on the balcony.. Probably not though.. Haha. Either way it was an amazing experience seeing how a movie is made, and how many people are involved with the production.
